Are your journeys on the World Wide Web just a sight seeing excursion? Do you just do email, read a newspaper, check the weather, play solitaire, and maybe even do some on line banking? Are you Retired, or looking froward to it, but Not Retarded, & definitely Not Done? Or are just not quite up to speed? Well, join the "club". At times, I am simply amazed at how easily my grandchildren use the computer and utilize the internet. It seems so easy to them. They do everything from playing games, to "talking" to friends, to doing their homework. Some of them were on the computer, and using it before they could read. Even though that made me proud, I still felt a little envy at their proficiency. So I decided to do something about it. I decided to educate myself about computers and "surfing" while using the World Wide Web. You could do the same thing, if you wanted to. I spent a lot of time and visited a lot of different sites to learn what I could. During that education process, I thought it would be nice if one could go to a single place and get a lot of information. I also thought that information should be Free. So I decided to build my own website and do that. This website is a result of that decision. I did my own research, registered my domain name, obtained a webhost, designed the site, learned to write the code that is necessary, and then published it. What you are seeing is that result. Retired, but Not Retarded, & definitely Not Done. This is not a club. It is a place where you can find a lot of free information in one place. All of the information on this site is FREE! Don't be intimidated. You won't spend any money unless you specificly decide to. Bookmark this page, (do you know how to do that?), and come back often for your free information. There is a wealth of information out there on the "Web", if you know how and want to access (get) it. If I tried to put all the free information on one page, you would get tired scrolling down to look at it. Or maybe you would get tired of clicking on the little down arrow. Whichever, there is an easier way. I have organized the free information into groups. Locate the group you are interested in. Select the group you want to "check out" by putting your cursor (little arrow) over the "Click Here", and click. You will be taken to another page, still on this site, that breaks the group into subgroups. Select the subgroup you want and click on it. That will "open another page" with free information. Don't be intimidated. Look around. Click on the links. You can always come back to here by simply closing the windows.
